Building Peace in Israel/Palestine: A Talk by a Former IDF Officer

Details

Since October 7, 2023, the Israel-Palestine conflict has dominated news coverage. Even those not inclined to engage with world affairs have been exposed to some information and been asked to form an opinion. In this talk, Yuval Braeman will share her experiences growing up in Israel and serving in the IDF as an officer as well as her volunteer work as a peace activist in the U.S. She hopes that her personal experiences will help attendees understand the human impact of the Israel-Palestine conflict. Braeman will introduce Standing Together, a grassroots movement working toward peace, equality, and justice in Israel/Palestine.
