Headed back to what was last year's seventh event for the Best BBQ series! The idea is to bounce around to independent, non-big chain BBQ joints for the experience and the good eats. Some are OTP, some are ITP. All will be the same, but different.

This one has been highly rated in the Atlanta area for years, winning multiple awards. Come down to Heirloom Market BBQ and enjoy a fusion of southern & Korean BBQ flavors. It is located relatively near Truist Park, just inside the perimeter and is the definition of hole-in-the-wall. The parking lot is small and the dining area smaller, being outside and standing room only for eats with a few tall tables (no chairs). Come ready for an adventure!

Prices are in the teens and up to about $20 plus drink, tax, tip.

The official spiel:
Heirloom Market is the smallest of places with the biggest of hearts. This chef driven restaurant was designed with the idea of paying respect to iconic BBQ food ways with the touch of our personal flavor. Chefs Cody and Jiyeon decided to create Heirloom Market with one basic thought "What can we enjoy doing for the next 10 years". We decided to cook to our strengths. Simple, Classic, and Fresh are three adjectives that should never be lost when providing such a polarizing cuisine as BBQ. Jiyeon, a South Korean ex-pat, grew up with the flavors of grilled meats, pickled vegetables, and a constant array of side dishes. Her culinary training and travels in the states has led to a deep rooted love for "Seoul" food or classic Southern cuisine. Cody (a Texas born, Tennessee raised, Atlanta trained Chef) has spent countless hours cooking, eating, and appreciating everything BBQ. Together they have created a place that provides the best of "the things we eat on our days off."

Come out and join us for one of my favorite events!

Two streets are closed off for the concert. We are going to sit on East Park Square (East side of Glover Park). Bring your Chairs, BYOB, Drinks, and Munchies.
We'll be there early to find a good spot for our group. BUT we'll need help!! Please come early and help get the party started!

Be sure to look for the Orange Bell Flag

Team Pictionary Contest

Hello Everyone,

A Team Pictionary Contest Night: Saturday April 25th, starting at 6:30pm. The Pictionary contest will start at 7pm.....but feel free to come earlier, I will be there by 5:30pm.

You can Either play or just come to eat and watch the fun!
Folks who come out by themselves will be put on a team with other individuals who show up as they come in. OR bring friends and make your own team.

This will be held At Anchor Bar in Kennesaw, Prizes, Half off select Appetizers, Great Wings, Drink Specials and fun people!.

Details: "Please read all the details" Everyone will get to see the picture being drawn, but only the team members of the drawer can guess.
Prizes for 1st, 2nd & 3rd place teams, when 5 teams are playing, 1st and second place only for less than 5 teams.
We are trying to get at least 5 teams of 4. We will have a maximum of 10 teams.
This is a Multi-Meetup group event.
(5) rounds per team, 60 seconds to guess the picture.
**(We may raise or lower the number of rounds based on the number of teams.)
If there is a tie in the end, the winner will be based on how quick the times are on all their rounds, total. Yes, each round will be timed.

Let's add a bit of interesting fun...:-) "SELF CONTROL"
If you call out the picture, and it is NOT your team member drawing, your team loses 30 seconds on their next guessing round. If you call out on the last round, your team is totally disqualified. SO, self control is preferred. LOL

When you get there, Come grab a name tag, be placed on a team and enjoy the fun!
You will be able to find us in the main dining room furthest from the front door.
This should be a lot of fun!! :-)
