Sierra Club Military Outdoors and GA Chapter Present: A Day at Arabia Mountain

Please join the Sierra Club GA Chapter and the Sierra Club Military Outdoors for a day at Metro Atlanta's hidden gems. We'll be taking a two-mile trek on the Mile Rock Trail. Folks will meet at the Davidson-Arabia Mountain Nature Preserve's Nature Center on Saturday, June 14th at 10 a.m. EST. The Arabia Mountain National Heritage Area is a wonderland of stunningly diverse landscapes just east of Atlanta. The park’s rolling terrain boasts over thirty miles of prime hiking trails that explore lofty mountaintops, serene lakes, open grasslands, and stream-filled forests. Arabia Mountain has long topped lists of favorite Atlanta hiking and running trails, and this two-mile adventure is an excellent primer to the area’s staggeringly beautiful outdoor spaces.
