Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area: Sope Creek 8-Mile Loop

Enjoy late Spring views along the Chattahoochee River on this popular, multi-use 8-mile loop trail north of Atlanta in Marietta. We'll start at the Cochran Shoals Unit Trailhead Parking Lot off Interstate North highway. Due to length and potential for muddy terrain this hike is considered moderately challenging taking about 3 hours to complete. Parking is $5 without a National Park Pass--parking lot does fill up quickly.

Dinner option after--perhaps along Powers Ferry Road.
