German Speaking Practice Meetup – Aachen

I started this group because I wanted a relaxed place to meet people and actually use German in real conversations.

The idea is pretty simple: we meet somewhere in Aachen, grab a drink or coffee, maybe even just sit in a park, and chat while trying to keep the conversation mostly in German.

The whole point is to get more comfortable speaking without feeling like every sentence has to be correct.

Depending on the group, we might occasionally bring in a conversation topic, question, game, or small activity, but mostly I’d like it to feel like a normal social meetup where German just happens to be the language we’re using.

You don’t need to be fluent at all. As a rough guideline, B1 or above will probably make the meetup most enjoyable, since you should already be able to hold a basic conversation in German.
