Making friends as an adult shouldn’t feel this hard—but here we are.
This group is for people in and around the I-270 corridor (Frederick to Bethesda)
who want to get out, meet new people, and actually build a social circle. No pressure, no expectations—just a space to show up, hang out, and connect.
Whether you’re new to the area, going through a life reset, or just looking to expand your circle, you’ll fit in here.
You don’t need to know anyone. Most people don’t when they show up the first time.
Just come out, be yourself, and give it a couple of events—you’ll start recognizing faces faster than you think.

Sailing Social: Woodwind Cruise in Annapolis

Join us for a relaxed sailing cruise aboard the Woodwind schooner out of Annapolis. I do this every year. This is an easygoing social—no sailing experience needed, just show up and enjoy the ride.
We’ll head out onto the Chesapeake Bay, catch the breeze, and take in some of the best views Maryland has to offer. Important Info.....
- Soft soled shoes are required while aboard to preserve our wood deck

- The only access to the dock is from the parking lot to the right of the hotel. The dock cannot be accessed through the hotel (the hotel restaurant is currently closed and under construction, look for updated information in your reminder email as your event approaches)
- Woodwind departs promptly at the listed departure time. There are no refunds or exchanges if you arrive late and miss the boat.
Drinks Aboard.....
- We do not accept cash for drink purchases
- For faster service aboard we have Drink Vouchers available for purchase when you check in at the Dock Office
- To purchase beverages aboard, you will scan a QR code using a smart phone (our crew will provide the QR code after they tell you about the beverages available during your sail)
