This coming new year, join us for our first easy and fun walk to the East. Explore this beautiful natural hideout in Tampines Eco Park. It is a sprawling 36-hectare ecological park resembling a savannah with marshlands, secondary forests, and freshwater ponds.

After the walk, we will learn to play at Playpoint's new Outdoor Gym!

This event is FOC.

Date: Sat, 20 Jan 2024

Time: 8am sharp

Meeting Point: Outside Tampines MRT Exit D (Street level, foyer with MRT Bus Interchange).

Start Point: Tampines MRT Station Exit D (Meeting Point)

End Point: Playpoint's Outdoor Gym at Tampines St 45.

Transportation:

By MRT: Take the Green (EW) Line and/or Downtown (Blue) Line to Tampines Station

By Bus: Any bus to Tampines Bus Interchange

Duration of event: About 3 hours (8-11am).

Distance: Approx 3-4km.

Difficulty: Easy walk, no climbing, no steep slopes.

Additional Info: As the Eco Park is kept as natural as possible, some paths may be slightly soggy if wet. Walking shoes are encouraged. Insect repellent is advised for those with sensitive skin.

This is a FOC event and is open to both GOGA members and their friends. No fees will be charged by the organiser.
