Welcome to Getting the Love You Want: Streamlined Essentials, an online workshop for couples looking to improve their communication and increase the love and respect in their relationship. April 19-21, 2024.
Hosted by Advanced Imago therapist Jesica Eames and Imago Professional Facilitator Brian Eames, this essential weekend intensive will give your relationship renewed energy, direction, and deepen your sense of connection with your partner.
Participants will learn communication techniques and conflict resolution strategies through individual reflection, written exercises, and by practicing new behaviors with their partner. You will also walk away with a toolbox to keep your connection alive and a mutual goal for the future. This workshop is based on the theory and exercises described in the best-selling book, "Getting the Love You Want: A Guide for Couples" by Harville Hendrix, PhD and Helen LaKelly Hunt, PhD.
It is an excellent option for couples at the beginning of their relationship who want to create a solid foundation, as well as couples that have been together a while and want to reignite their spark!
What we love about this workshop is couples get to work through exercises with their partner while also learning from the experiences and questions of other couples. It is an experience that can be very healing as you move through the material with your partner and the workshop community.
SCHEDULE: April 19-21, 2024. Friday: 6:00 - 8:00pm, Saturday & Sunday 10:00am - 1:00pm (Eastern Standard Time).
LOCATION: This is an online virtual workshop presented via Zoom. You will receive login information via email the week of the workshop.
COST: $495 per couple. Please select only one registration. You will fill out both of your information on the Participant Questionnaire.
CEUs: 10 CEUs for therapists are available for an additional $30 fee.
CANCELLATION POLICY: If you cancel 30 days or more prior to the starting date of the program, your registration fee may be refunded minus a $50 non-refundable finance charge. If you make arrangements to cancel your registration at least 30 days before the start date of the program, you may apply your deposit to the next scheduled program once at no charge. If you cancel within 30 days of the program, or do not show on the scheduled date, your registration fee can be applied to the next available program.
