Get Together and Go Out Hampshire (GeTGO)

This is a 6 mile circular walk in the heart of the South downs starting at Compton square by the Coach and Horses Pub. We will take in Up Marden and East Marden during the walk. There are 3 moderate hills on the walk and several stiles. We will walk at a moderate pace and suitable walking footwear is recommended.

Limited free car parking is available in Compton square by the Coach and Horses pub but there is ample free parking at the recreation ground just before entering the village (see map). We can have coffee and/or lunch at the cafe in Compton after the walk if anyone is interested.

A fun evening with friends and a good home made curry. Tickets include a quiz and curry.

Please note, there will not be a licensed bar at this event so you are permitted on this occasion to bring your own refreshments to drink!

This event is a fund raising event to help run and develop The Pallant Centre - we will be holding a raffle on the night, if you would be willing to donate a prize please bring it along!

We (GeTGO) have been to a few events at the Pallant and they have all been fun and good value for money.

There is parking available and The Pallant is easily accessible by train and bus.

Why not join our Book Club and be introduced to new books, with a get together afterwards to discuss it frankly, love it or hate it, interesting or boring, good or bad?

If you don't want to join for the book club, just come along for the lunch beforehand (but please let me know which you are coming for so I can book accordingly).

Feel free to join us for a particular book or every book, but don't expect to like them all. That is part of the fun.

Meetings will be held monthly at 14:00 hours, The next meeting will be at the Woodpecker in Waterlooville, I will be there for lunch from 13:00 hours if anyone wants to join me/us.

Books usually available on Amazon, WOB (World of Books) and other internet sites and of course, can often be found in charity shops and the Library.

This event is for people who would like to take part in a pub quiz but don't feel they know enough or may hold other players back! It is more about the social event than the quiz, although obviously we need to be aware that other teams will be playing to win so we will be following quiz etiquette.

The Westleigh is a warm, friendly and welcoming. For £4.00 per person you can play in the quiz and also have a bar snack, sausage and chips sort of thing.

Please bring some paper and a pen to write down answers. There is no limit on this event until we see how it goes. We will sort out teams of up to 6 on the night. Table(s) will be booked in my name.
