The Jockey Hollow Park is the 1779-80 winter encampment site of the 12,000 plus members of the Continental Army. The site features replica huts used by American soldiers during the Revolutionary War.

Date/Time: June 14 Sat : Time: 9:00am- 12 PM

Meet at the : The Jockey Hollow Visitor Center building, back of the parking lot.

Difficulty Level: Moderate, 580 FT Elev. gain, 5.0 miles (Est. 2.5 hours) 2.0-2.5 mph
We will follow the Grand Loop Trail and the Yellow Trail Loop.
This is Moderate due to length and some uphill flat parts of the trail. We will maintain a pace where everyone can follow.

Please arrive 10min early to park so we can begin as scheduled.

What to bring:
Must wear Hiking boots as it will be rocky and muddy in some parts of the trail.
Must bring drinks and snacks. We will stop for water breaks as needed and keep hydrated.
Sunscreen, Bug spray as needed.
Food afterwards:
We can go for lunch afterwards for those who are interested, place TBD.
