Have you been asked to 'fork a repo' and have no idea what that means? Then this class is for you!

GitHub is a great way to collaborate on big projects, and showcase your skills.

This class assumes you are familiar with Git bash and basic command line.

In this workshop we will go over the following:

• GitHub background

• Connecting your GitHub account with your local Git bash

• Configuring your Git bash

• Connecting your Git to your text editor

• Forking, cloning, pushing and pulling (and EXPLAINING all the jargon)

• Dealing with merge conflicts

This will be a very hands on class. By the end of class every student will have forked, pushed, pulled and dealt with merge conflicts using their personal GitHub class.
