Join us for an evening of conversation about speaking in the tech industry, brought to you by Girl Develop It Columbus and DevOps Columbus!

Speaking publicly at conferences and local technical events is an amazing way to further your career, teach yourself new things, and get your name out there. It is also a great way to give back by teaching and inspiring growth in the technical community.

During this event, you'll learn more about both Girl Develop It Columbus and DevOps Columbus, and the public speaking opportunities available through both groups. Our illustrious panel will also talk about the following topics:- What makes a good topic- How to determine the appropriate forum- What goes in an abstract- How abstracts are chosen- How to craft a presentation- What to keep in mind when you speak - How to solicit feedback - and what to do with it when you get it
