Geneva is a beautiful and international city located on the shores of Lake Geneva, surrounded by the Alps. It's known for its stunning natural scenery, rich history, and significant role in global diplomacy. The city offers a blend of cultural attractions, historical sites, and outdoor activities, making it an appealing destination if visiting for the first time.
This is the weekend of the Geneva Marathon, so will make the city very lively, but it also means some transport and walking routes (especially near the lake and Mont-Blanc bridge) will be impacted by race closures.
