This night's event is Salsa Dancing! PLEASE BRING $20 cash for salsa lessons at the venue. Your GIST ticket only covers the 1-1 speed-friending.
Join me tonight for a rich evening where the scent of premium cigars meets the lively rhythm of Latin music. We'll start with about an hour of app-guided 1-1 speed friending to get acquainted, and then we'll group up and step right inside the cigar bar to catch the beat and dance.
The evening kicks off with a series of quick, casual conversations. I'll be using the Gist IRL app to pair everyone up, so you always know who you're chatting with next. It makes it super easy to find the folks who share your appreciation for a smooth smoke and a great bassline.
Once we've broken the ice, the best part begins. You get to choose the people you vibed with the most, form a small crew, and head inside the cigar bar together. By the end of the night, you are out on the dance floor with 4-6 people you just met but already click with. Whether these new friends become your regular salsa dancing crew or it simply makes for an incredible evening out, you're going to have a fantastic time spinning to the music.
The Plan:
- 6:00PM: Check-In. Follow the link to set up your quick profile on your phone.
- 6:05PM - 7:25PM: One-on-One Rounds. The app pairs you for focused chats. Find out who shares your love for good cigars, great music, and getting out on the dance floor.
- 7:00PM+: Form Groups & head into the cigar bar to go salsa dancing together. They'll be teaching us lessons! BRING $20 CASH FOR LESSONS
