The Rocca di Manerba stands on a rocky spur overlooking Lake Garda. You can reach it through various trails that cross the park or run along the lake. It is truly beautiful and distinctive, both for its striking lakeside position and for the strong sense of history it conveys thanks to its countless archaeological findings.

PROGRAM
11:00 Meeting point at Bar Bibò 2 – Piazza S. Bernardo 4, 25080 Manerba del Garda (BS)
11:15 Departure towards Rocca di Manerba
12:30 approx. Arrival at the Rocca and then beach time by the lake, free time and Lunch (packed lunch or arranging with local facilities)
16:00/16:30 Return

Medium–Easy Level – About 1h15 and approx. 3 km of walking each way, 120 m elevation gain. No special equipment or clothing required. Always bring food and water “to keep you going”. Trekking shoes. Towel and swimsuit for the beach stop.

Easy Level – About 45 minutes and roughly 3.5 km per leg, mostly flat. No special equipment or clothing required.
Always bring some “hunger‑stopper” food and water. Beach towel and swimsuit recommended.

Note 1: Participants must reach the starting point independently (car, bus, train, etc.) or via carpooling by coordinating with other participants in the private Facebook and/or Telegram groups reserved for members (request access once you have your membership card).

Note 2: The “I will attend” button on Meetup is not considered valid for us. Meetup is only used to publish the event and gauge interest. Once you become a member, please follow the instructions for the event’s official registration.

Walking with the sea beside you is always wonderful.
We’ll do it along the beautiful E. Montale promenade, which connects Varazze to Celle Ligure.
A path reserved for pedestrians and cyclists, bordered on one side by Mediterranean scrub and on the other by rocky cliffs overlooking the sea.

Lungo la cresta Ovest del Monte Legnone spunta una piccola elevazione di 1715 metri che prende il nome di Monte Legnoncino.
Una vetta capace di offrire agli escursionisti una piacevole e tranquilla passeggiata con panorami che lasciano letteralmente “a bocca aperta”. La sua conformazione, praticamente a picco sul lago di Como, crea di fatto un vero e proprio balcone naturale che garantisce un panorama che non ha nulla da invidiare a quello offerto dal vicino “fratello maggiore” Legnone.

Ore 12.45 circa arrivo al alla vetta del Legnoncino, tempo libero e Pranzo (al sacco o organizzandosi in maniera autonoma presso Strutture del posto)
Ore 15 circa rientro

Livello Medio – 4 km e 1.40 h circa di camminata a tratta, 470 mt di dislivello, non necessita di attrezzature o abbigliamento particolari, portarsi sempre cibo e acqua “tappafame”, scarpe trekking.

N.B.1 La località di partenza della camminata viene raggiunta autonomamente (auto, bus, treno ecc.) o in car pooling mettendosi d’accordo con gli altri partecipanti nel gruppo chiuso Facebook e/o Telegram riservato agli associati (richiedi l’accesso appena in possesso della tessera associativa).

Il rifugio Angelo Gherardi, situato nella bella e assolata Val Taleggio, fa parte di un paesaggio che risulta quasi paradisiaco.
Impossibile non restare colpiti: la capanna si trova immersa in un vasto e verde altopiano. Ci si può rifocillare su uno dei tavoli da pic-nic, rilassarsi sui verdi prati, leggere un libro o semplicemente approfittare del bellissimo panorama, che spazia fino ai Piani di Artavaggio e alle montagne lecchesi.
