Lake Moro is a natural gem of remarkable beauty.
Nestled between the Sorline and Rodino hills and overlooked by Mount Pora and Mount Altissimo, it sits at just 381 meters above sea level.
From a naturalistic point of view, the influence of the Mediterranean climate of Lake Iseo and the glacial climate of the Adamello makes Lake Moro one of the areas with the highest concentration of biodiversity in Europe. This unique condition also benefits local productions such as cheese, honey, and olive oil.

PROGRAM
11:00 – Meeting point at G8 Wine Bar Café, Via Vittorio Veneto 20, 24060 Rogno (BG)
11:15 – Departure for Lake Moro Park
12:30 – Approximate arrival, free time, relaxing on the lakeshore, and lunch (packed lunch or independently arranged at local venues)
15:00 – Approximate return

Easy-Medium Level – About 1h30 and 3.5 km each way, 250 m elevation gain. No special equipment or clothing required. Always bring some food and water, trekking shoes, a towel, and a swimsuit for a possible lakeside break.

Up there at 1,600 meters, in the heart of Alpe Mota, just below Passo del Gandazzo, stands the spectacular and panoramic Rifugio Buzzoni.
A true “must” among Lombardy’s hiking destinations.

11:00 AM – Meet at Rifugio Trifoglio, Località Ceresola, 24010 Valtorta (BG)
11:15 AM – Departure for Rifugio Buzzoni
Approximately 12:45 PM – Arrival, free time, and lunch (packed lunch or at the refuge)
3:00 / 3:30 PM – Return

Medium Level – Approximately 1.5 hours and 3 km of walking each way, 320 meters of elevation gain. No special equipment or clothing is required. Trekking shoes are recommended. Always bring food and water for snacks.

The village of Sestri Levante stands in a spectacular setting: a peninsula divided between the “two seas” of the Bay of Silence and the Bay of Fables.
It is undoubtedly one of the most enchanting places you can choose for a weekend by the sea.

10:30 – Walk through the Historic Centre
10:45 – Arrival at the Bay of Silence and full day at the beach
20:00 – Group dinner

GENERAL PROGRAM – SUNDAY
10:00 – Meeting point and optional hike to Punta Manara
(30 minutes walking, 1.2 km, 140m elevation gain) for a stunning panoramic view
11:00 – Beach time and full day by the sea
18:00 – Approximate return home

NOTES
1. TRAVEL
Participants reach the destination independently (car, train, bus, etc.) or via car pooling by coordinating with others in the private Facebook and/or Telegram groups reserved for members (request access once you have your membership card).

2. ACCOMMODATION
Accommodation is chosen and booked independently by participants according to their needs.
The idea is to stay at least in the same town — and ideally in the same hotel if possible.
Arrangements can be discussed together in the dedicated group.
Gitup will coordinate but will not handle hotel bookings or accommodation management.

3. DINNER
Gitup will coordinate and book the group dinner.

TENTATIVE PROGRAM – FRIDAY 03/07 – PONTE DI LEGNO
Approximately 5:00/5:30 PM – Meeting point at Caffè Roma, Via Cima Cadi 1, Ponte di Legno (BS)
6:00 PM – Visit of the town through the charming streets of the historic center
8:00 PM – Traditional group dinner.

TENTATIVE PROGRAM – SATURDAY 04/07 – LAKE VALBIONE AND CASE DI VISO

10:30/10:45 AM – Meeting point at Bar Brescia, Via Corno d’Aola 24, Ponte di Legno (BS)
10:45/11:00 AM – Departure for the hike
12:15 PM – Arrival at Lake Valbione, free time and lunch (packed lunch or at local facilities)
Approximately 2:30 PM – Return hike
Approximately 4:30 PM – Transfer by car to visit the unique village of Case di Viso
Approximately 6:30 PM – Return to accommodations
8:30 PM – Traditional group dinner

Medium level – About 2.5 km and approximately 1 hour 20 minutes walking each way, 270 m elevation gain. No special equipment or clothing required, but always bring snacks, water, and trekking shoes.

TENTATIVE PROGRAM – SUNDAY 05/07 – PRESENA GLACIER
10:00/10:15 AM – Departure for the Presena Glacier excursion
10:30/10:45 AM – Cable car ascent and tour around the glacier landscapes
12:30 PM – End of the tour, free time and lunch (packed lunch or at local facilities)
2:30/3:00 PM – Return home with optional coffee stop in Edolo

Medium level – Route and elevation changes to be confirmed on site. The entire experience can also be done by cable car.
No special equipment or clothing required.
Always bring snacks, water, and trekking shoes.
