Hike, Run, Bike Grand Canyon-South Rim

A few of us are talking about an October trip (no date set yet) to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon to hike, run or mountain bike. I will be doing strenuous day hiking, my runner friends will be running down to the river and back in one day. There are mountain biking trails on the rim and surrounding areas. This is not an official Meetup trip with a leader – just friends going for fun and adventure. Day time we can do our own thing and meet evenings for dinner (if desired). There is camping on the South Rim or hotels. We can carpool.
