This two-day Outdoor First Aid Course delivered by Outdoor Pursuits Scotland is the ideal opportunity to get trained in a comprehensive range of first aid topics and techniques.

This course is designed to meet the specifications for most Outdoor National Governing Body Certificates and also includes the Emergency First Aid at Work qualification.
Participants will gain knowledge on how to assess an emergency situation, administer CPR, treat shock, apply splints and bandages as well as manage major illnesses or injuries.
The course takes place in Glasgow over 16 hours of interactive instruction and hands-on practice with experienced instructors. It is a mixture of classroom and outdoor based learning.
The program covers a variety of scenarios so you’ll be equipped for any eventuality while out enjoying your outdoor activities.
You'll leave this course with increased confidence in your ability to respond effectively in an emergency situation outdoors!

This course will be subsidised by 50% by the club for the first few walk organisers who sign up and pay (£60 instead of £120).
