We have an active walks programme with a walk organised most weekends. From urban walks and Munro's to weekend trips in the countryside, there is something for everyone to enjoy. Join us to meet like-minded outdoor enthusiasts, explore beautiful locations, and create unforgettable memories. So whether you’re new to walking, or never far from the mountains, we’ll happily welcome you! On the social side we have regular pub nights as well as other events throughout the year.
We are a Ramblers affiliated group. Not a Ramblers member? No problem, you can still join us for up to 3 walks. Once you become a Ramblers member you will have access to a variety of training courses, including first aid, navigation and walk leadership that will enhance your hill skills and up your confidence levels plus a huge variety of other membership benefits.

Distance: 7.72km / 4.8 miles

Terrain: Path for the walk in then boggy on the descent. Rocky and scrambling for the remainderGetting there:
By car: The starting point of the walk is around 1 hour and 45 minutes by car from the city centre of Glasgow. The Kingshouse hotel parking charge is insane, so I would suggest parking at the Ski Cente
Public transport:
Citylink bus (May timetable yet to be released but there will be a bus arriving around 9am)Please note that number of attendees is limited to 6 people. Due to the Grade 1 scrambling only Ramblers members can attend, I will also be messaging anyone that I haven't walked with to check their scrambling experience.
This is a Grade 1 scramble which is suitable for those with reasonable fitness levels and scrambling experience. Please wear suitable walking boots. Please also make sure that have food and water on you but ensuring that you have a reasonably light rucksack. I would also suggest bring gloves that are suitable for scrambling.
Please note that this event will only take place in suitable weather, if rain is forecast an alternative will be offered

Getting there
By car: The starting point of the walk is 1 hour 20 minutes away by car from the city centre of Glasgow. If you can offer a lift, please add this to the comments with the number of places you have. This is a strenuous walk with a considerable amount of ascent thus previous hillwalking experience and a good fitness are essential. Please wear suitable walking boots and bring your full waterproofs. Please also make sure that you have food and water on you. Additionally, walk leaders reserve the right to turn away participants who, in their opinion, are inadequately equipped or unfit for the type of walk. There may be snow on the mountain, so please bring appropriate clothing and equipment for this possibility. Not open
