Baby-friendly Balloch Bummel

Join Glasgow Young Walkers for a kiddie-friendly leisurely walk around Balloch - all walkers welcome, you do not have to be a parent to come :D

• Duration: 1.5 hours

• Terrain: Tarmac and good woodland paths throughout

Getting there
By car: Balloch is around 30 min drive from Central Glasgow. Balloch Castle Country Park car park is free: https://maps.app.goo.gl/WPzwnsP3vya2v9fw7
By public transport: Trains to Balloch leave every 30 minutes from Glasgow Queen Street - the 10.13 train gets to Balloch at 11.02.
Please note that number of attendees is limited to 10 adults for this walk, but unlimited children.
This is a gentle stroll through Balloch country park, along the shores of Loch Lomond and up past the castle ruins. There's plenty to see and do for kiddies, including a play park stop halfway round and a secret garden at the end. Balloch has lots of other attractions, including a Sea Life centre. We can go for lunch/coffee at the end.
Please note that this walk will only go ahead in good weather conditions. If the weather is not good enough, the event will be postponed.
