Ceilidh in Linlithgow Palace

Join Glasgow Young Walkers for a Wednesday night ceilidh in Linlithgow!

Linlithgow Scotch Hop is Scottish Dancing for all. Everyone is welcome, and all dances are called (described while dancing) or demonstrated (before each dance starts). There is no alcohol or bar, but they serve water and juice all evening, with shortbread at the interval. When possible, the ceilidh will take place in the open air courtyard,, or the Great Hall, at Linlithgow Palace. If weather is poor they use an indoor venue nearby.

Getting there :
By public transport : There is a train from Glasgow Queen Street to Edinburgh at 6:45 pm which gets to Linlithgow at 7:17 pm. There a train back to Glasgow at 10:04 pm and also at 10:33 pm.

By car : Depending on the traffic it takes roughly 50 mins to get to Linlithgow from the centre of Glasgow.
