What we’re about
The Gleeful Meeple are a group of social people who want to meet new friends and play games with them. New to board games? No problem. We're happy to teach. Our events can and may pop up just about anywhere (primarily local breweries, cool huh?) Our most popular events are board gaming events, where all attendees are welcome to bring their favorite games to play with us and our hosts will bring a bag of their own for you to enjoy as well. We may be board game group, but we’re so much more. We host tabletop RPG events, trivia nights, escape games, kickball, disc golf, and always looking for new ways to play.
All ages are welcome and encouraged, families included.

For those new to Gleeful Meeple Events: GM Nashville is an all-inclusive social gaming (tabletop, outdoor, trivia, etc.) community created to help people in Nashville make friends and support local businesses. Everyone is always welcome, kids included (unless otherwise specified.) GM members are warm and welcoming of all newcomers. No Experience Necessary.
We're bringing our big ol' bags of games, but please feel free to bring your own to play as well. We don't discriminate, we have board games, card games, dice games, roll and writes, strategy games and party games. The most important part, new friends to meet and play games with.Hi-Wire Brewing: At the corner of Division Street and 9th Avenue you'll find this fun, bright taproom; covered in vibrant murals and neon lights. Hi-Wire has beer, food, and an outdoor patio. They're dog friendly too! Come on out to get wired with your favorite Gleeful Meeple.
Parking Situation: The Modera Gulch building has a paid parking garage as well as additional paid parking throughout the neighborhood.
FREE PARKING: To get two hours of free parking in the Modera garage, download the Metropolis Parking app, then scan the validation QR code posted inside Hi-Wire.
Please note that parking is limited, so we recommend using Uber/Lyft for safety and convenience if you’re able.
