For those new to GONG events: GONG Nashville is an all-inclusive social gaming (tabletop, outdoor, trivia, etc.) community created to help people in Nashville make friends and support local businesses. TERRAFORMING MARS
For those unfamiliar, TM is a medium-heavy game where you compete to colonize Mars. It's an incredibly well-made game and a lot of fun, BUT it's a little difficult to just pick up and play. SO! We gathered up some of our pros with copies who agreed to run new and experienced players through the game! It's looking like we're going to have 4-5 tables of TM running, so here's your chance to try it out! It takes a bit longer to play and has a learning curve, but the pros will make sure you get comfortable with the rules and mechanics.
For those of you out there who might not be into that type of commitment, there's also a BUNCH of other games that will be there plus new friends to play them with! So don't be intimidated by the theme, just come out anyways and you'll still have fun. Promise!
It's Black Abbey! Tasty beers, big tables, great staff, outside food allowed, & food trucks tend to be available as well on Tuesdays (but don't quote me - will confirm shortly!) So come out, and let's go to outer space together!
