Hello, everyone, and welcome to the Glendale Writers Workshop! We hope this will be a great place for you to read your chapter to an audience and receive constructive feedback on story structure, character development, as well as grammar and syntax.
Meetings will be held in person on Thursday evenings, 6-8:30 pm. Attendees will bring a chapter to read to the group (six or fewer double-spaced pages, font 12 or bigger, Times, margin no smaller than 0.5 inches). We love fiction but other categories are welcome. No erotica, porn, hardcore gore, hardcore torture, child abuse or animal abuse - other than a one-time, single-line passing reference in the chapter added only for plot.
I plan to start meetings as soon as we have a sufficient number of attendees (four or more). Please monitor your chat for my query. Once I get your responses, I will finalize schedules and other details.
Please note that the Old Town Scottsdale and Ahwatukee Writers Workshops are still on-going, offering constructive criticism for those looking to grow as authors.
