You are welcome to join the program at any time. As the miles increase, you will want to ensure you can handle it. A road bike or a hybrid bike with narrow tires is best for this ride. If you have any questions about the program, please call John Montez at 480-899-3625. Don't ever worry about being left behind... someone will stay with you if you fall behind.
Beginner to Expert Saturday Training

10 to 30 miles in 5 weeks
Training Program: Starts the week of October 18, and
ends November 15, 2025

THE ROUTE:
Week Three: 15-20 miles

  • - Spinning
    - Passing or overtaking other riders.
    - Cadence and proper pedal stroke
    - Pulling: How to be the lead Rider
    - Nutrition: What do you need to carry with you?
    - Recovery Nutrition
    - Paceline Fundamentals

Before attending, please make sure your bike is in proper working order. If you need help getting your bike back in riding condition, please stop by one of our locations. Global Bikes offers several service options to get your bike ready to ride. Bicycle service can take a few days, so please plan accordingly.
If you have read the description and feel that you cannot safely participate in the event, please wait until you are ready or consider one of our other rides.

GLOBAL BIKES RIDE WAIVER
When you attend this event, you are agreeing to the following:
While bicycling is an outstanding recreational sport, it also involves risk and even dangers. Some of these dangers include, but are not limited to, traveling on or crossing heavily traveled roads, steep descents, potholes, accidents, unexpected moves of another rider, physical exertion, fatigue, flat tires, and motorists. Ride terrain, pace and distance may vary from the written or verbal description. In addition, mountain bike rides may involve steep descents on heavily rutted roads and/or trails, rock and log hopping, cactus, snakes, or other wildlife.
I acknowledge that Eighty Hour Weeks, LLC, Alan D. Lepak and Brandee Lepak, and RMAL, LLC (all DBA Global Bikes) require the wearing of helmets as well as other safety gear, and agree to hold Global Bikes and the ride leaders harmless for any injury resulting from my failure to wear a helmet or other safety gear.
The undersigned acknowledges that the risks described above, as well as numerous other dangers, are inherent in recreational bicycling, and the undersigned agrees to assume all risks associated with participating in ride activities. The undersigned further agrees to save and hold harmless (following entities are all DBA Global Bikes) Eighty Hour Weeks, LLC, Alan D. Lepak, RMAL, LLC, and All its’ employees, ride leaders, coordinators, members, and other riders from any liability for any injury or damage resulting from, or in any way connected with, participation in group/store/club activities.
I warrant that I am competent to ride safely and that my bicycle and equipment are in safe working condition. I agree to obey all traffic laws and to practice safety and courtesy when cycling. I hereby consent to and authorize any emergency treatment in the event of injury or illness.
In the case of children under the age of 18, I would like to agree to the terms of the above waiver for my child/children. I agree that Global Bikes, its officers, activity organizers, employees, ride leaders, and other members have no obligation to provide instruction to, or supervision of, my children.
I grant Eighty Hour Weeks, LLC, Alan D. Lepak, and Brandee Lepak, RMAL, LLC, their employees, and agents unlimited permission to use, publish, and re-publish in any form reproductions of my likeness (photographs or video) with or without identification of me by name. I agree not to demand payment or any other compensation, and I would like to hold the above parties harmless from all liability that arises from such use.
I HAVE READ AND UNDERSTOOD THIS WAIVER, AND I AGREE TO BE LEGALLY BOUND BY IT.
