St. Patrick's Poker Ride -- *E-Bikes are Welcome too*

We are bringing back the Poker Ride, and the theme will be St. Patrick's Day! Feel free to dress up and enjoy the theme.

This event costs $25 to participate and includes lunch, post-ride snacks, and rest-stop snacks at each location. We will also provide Ride Support (SAG).

We will have A, B, and C groups!

This ride will take you on a tour of four of the Five Global Bikes locations, for a total of 43 miles. At each of these stops, you will be dealt a card and your playing card stamped. The winning hand will win the grand prize, a $250 Global Bikes Gift Card. Other prizes will be raffled off throughout the day as well. Only one grand prize will be awarded. If there is a tie, we will deal one card each, and the high card wins.

Lunch will be served post-ride, and maybe some green beer too!

While bicycling is an outstanding recreational sport, it also involves risk and even dangers. Some of these dangers include, but are not limited to, traveling on or crossing heavily trafficked roads, steep descents, potholes, accidents, unexpected moves by other riders, physical exertion, fatigue, flat tires, and interactions with motorists. Ride terrain, pace, and distance may vary from the written or verbal description. In addition, mountain bike rides may involve steep descents on heavily rutted roads and/or trails, rock and log hopping, and encounters with cacti, snakes, or other wildlife.

I acknowledge that Eighty Hour Weeks, LLC (DBA Global Bikes), Alan D. Lepak, Brandee Lepak, and RMAL, LLC require the wearing of helmets as well as other safety gear and agree to hold Global Bikes and the ride leaders harmless for any injury resulting from my failure to wear a helmet or other safety gear.

The undersigned acknowledges that the risks recited above, as well as numerous other dangers, are inherent in recreational bicycling and the undersigned agrees to assume all risks associated with
participation in ride activities. The undersigned further agrees to save and hold harmless Eighty Hour Weeks, LLC (DBA Global Bikes), Alan D. Lepak, RMAL, LLC, its’ employees, ride leader, coordinators, members, and other riders from any and all liability for any injury or damage resulting from, or in any way connected with, participation in group/store/club activities.

I warrant that I am competent to ride safely and that my bicycle and equipment are in safe working condition. I agree to obey all traffic laws and to practice safety and courtesy when cycling. I hereby consent to and permit any emergency treatment in the event of injury or illness.

In the case of children under the age of 18, I hereby agree to the terms of the above waiver on behalf of my child/children. I agree that Global Bikes, its officers, activity organizers, employees, ride leaders and other members have no obligation to provide instruction to, or supervision of my children.

I give Eighty Hour Weeks, LLC (DBA Global Bikes), Alan D. Lepak, RMAL, LLC, its employees, and agents unlimited permission to use, publish and re-publish in any form of media reproductions of my likeness (photographs or video) with or without identification of me by name. I agree not to demand payment or any other compensation and agree to hold the above parties harmless of all liability arising from such use.

I HAVE READ AND UNDERSTAND THIS WAIVER AND I AGREE TO BE LEGALLY BOUND BY IT.
