Raja Yoga meditation brings an experience and understanding of the inner being, or soul. It enables us to enjoy moments of deep silence, and savour periods of introspection and reflection through which we begin to remember secrets about ourselves that we once knew, but had long forgotten.
These experiences bring about a positive change of consciousness, often with far-reaching benefits. Self-respect increases, and quality of relationships improves. Addictive habits of thought, feeling and behaviour start to fall away.
Four introductory sessions (called "The Journey Within"), held on four consecutive Saturdays at the retreat centre from 10.00-11.30am, lay the foundation for this change of outlook.
An intermediate course, also of four sessions, goes deeper into an understanding of the soul and its journey through time, facilitating the practice of soul-consciousness and a sense of connection to the divine.
Finally, an advanced course is offered for those wanting to learn more about regular study with the spiritual university, as a means of strengthening our ability to meet the challenges faced in everyday life.
