Gloucestershire Humanists January 2026 meeting:
Tying Up Your Loose Ends
Funeral celebrant Lizzie gives an overview of the "Tying Up Your Loose Ends" workshop, designed by Joanna Mutlow of Humanists UK.

It's an easy-going, pragmatic course about organising for the inevitability of your death: to help yourself and those you leave behind; to discuss your options and your choices.

The workshop itself is split into four sessions:

  • Unit 1: Taking Stock: What has your life been and what is left to live?
  • Unit 2: Planning for a Rainy Day: What instructions if you lose capacity?
  • Unit 3: Tidying Up: What would happen if you died yesterday?
  • Unit 4: The Grande Finale: What sort of ceremony or endstop?

*** For members of Gloucestershire Humanists, attendance of this event is free. For non-members, a £3 contribution would be greatly appreciated. Donations allow us to host monthly events and keep our group running. The donation link and membership info can be found on our website https://glos.humanist.org.uk/ ***
