Gloucestershire Humanists April 2026 meeting:
“When the going gets tough, how do humanists keep going?” - discussion evening
We know that many people of faith feel that religious teachings or worship will help them through difficult times in our lives.
But obviously we, as humanists, don’t have an equivalent to that sort of doctrine or belief in some kind of higher power directing our lives.
So how do we, as humanists, keep going and learn to thrive again when the odds seem stacked against us?
Is anything about our approach to past difficult times explicitly or retrospectively humanist?
Come along to reflect, ponder and share if you wish.
*** For members of Gloucestershire Humanists, attendance of this event is free. For non-members, a £3 contribution would be greatly appreciated. Donations allow us to host monthly events and keep our group running. The donation link and membership info can be found on our website https://glos.humanist.org.uk/ ***
