(MS) Pisgah Forest - Daniel Ridge Loop to Cove Creek Trail

Daniel Ridge Loop to Cove Creek Road. We'll be going counter clockwise following the Davidson River gradually climbing for about 2 miles. After starting the decent we'll take a short out and back hike on the Cove Creek Road Trail to the river. We will take a lunch break about half way on the hike. This is a lovely out-and-back woodland walk. Daniel Ridge is fairly easy. Total distance for this hike is 6-7 miles.

Please meet for carpools ready to depart at 8 am from Publix, please arrive 15 min earlier to sign-in. If you are meeting at the trailhead, please leave a comment so we are not waiting unnecessarily. Put in Daniel Ridge Falls Parking in googlemaps. Meet the group there at 9:30 am. Once you enter Pisgah Forest, you will go left on the road to Cove Creek and go on beyond that parking area to the Daniel Ridge parking further down.
