The Rebooters: (M) Cove Creek Falls - Pisgah

“The Rebooters” is a GNHA group that hikes on Saturdays or Sundays. If you are completely new to hiking, getting back into hiking after being off the trails for a while, or need an assessment hike to check your capabilities, then grab those boots and “reboot” - this is the hike for you!
Although hike distance, elevation gain and pace may vary, hikes in this group will be on the easy to moderate levels with low mileage.

Rescheduled

Meet hike leader at Pisgah Ranger Station at 10:00. Hike leader will be in a blue Subaru Forester, tag (NC) OFF ROUTE. From there we will drive to the Cove Creek Trailhead. The hike is a 5.5 mile moderate loop. Easy pace, the trail is rooty in places. We will view Cove Creek Falls and Caney Bottom Falls. Lunch by the creek at the top of the loop.
