Silver Steps, Jones Gap Falls Loop (VS)

This is an optional hike if desired regarding the Panthertown Hike led by Charles and Lisa due to high participant numbers.

Meet at the Silver Steps parking lot within the Ceasars Head SP at 9:15am. You will need a SC Park Pass or cash to park. Our hike will begin at 9:30am.

We will take Silver Steps Trail to Jones Gap Trail where we will encounter Silver Steps Falls and then Jones Gap Falls. This trail is an easy decent that is easy on the knees and mind with deep lush forest and the sounds of the Middle Saluda River. At Jones Gap Falls we will take a no rush lunch and return to our cars via the Jones Gap Trial, Coldspring Branch, and Tom Miller Trails. Most of our elevation gain of 1647' will be obtained on our return.
