## (S) Trombatore Trail and Strawberry Gap - out and back.
Approx 7.4 miles RT
Elevation: 1600 eg
MPH- 2-2.5
96 miles RT- $8.00 CASH carpool fee
9:00am departure (8:45 for carpool) University Square / Publix parking lot on the Mr. Salsa side.
10:10am Trailhead (Google maps: Bearwallow Mountain Trail- 4854 Bearwallow Mountain Rd. Hendersonville, NC)
We will begin at the Trombatore/Bearwallow Trailhead. We will hike to the fields at Trombatore and onward on Strawberry Gap, where we will hopefully be rewarded with a fantastic view at the lookout. We will stop here for lunch and then return the same way.
If you are new to Terri's hikes, please contact me via Meetup message with a list of your recent hiking experience. This is strenuous for distance and elevation and we move at a fast pace 2-2.5mph.
