(M) Conestee Nature Park - Brushy Creek Trails

We are going to hike the upper section of Conestee Nature Park starting near the Rewa Wastewater Plant and do a figure 8 loop hike through the trails in the Brushy Creek section of the park. This will be a new area of the park that we have not hiked previously. The Brushy Creek section trails are true hiking/mountain bike trails. This hike also features a tour through Rewa Waste Water facility along the Swamp Rabbit trail.

We will meet at the Parkins Mill Road access to the Swamp Rabbit Trail at 8:45 am. This parking area is directly under the I-85 bridge over Parkins Mill Rd. From Mauldin Rd, turn onto Parkins Mill Rd. Go under I-85, then immediate left into parking area. On Google maps: Parkins Monitoring Station.
