(MS) — Dean's List: ASHMORE HERITAGE PRESERVE
This hike will begin at the trailhead parking on Persimmon Ridge Rd. We will hike up a steep trail to a rock overlook with a view of Paris Mountain and Downtown Greenville. We will have a break there to have a snack and enjoy the views. We will return on the same trail with an added loop hike around Lake Wattacoo. We will be able to see the rare Pitcher Plants and the waterfall coming off High Rock from the lake. We will meet at 12:30 PM at Publix. Please respond in the comments if you plan to meet at the trailhead at 1 PM.
