(S) Raven Cliff Falls Overlook & Falls Suspension Bridge

The hike will start from the Raven Cliff Falls trailhead parking area where we will take the Raven Cliff Falls Trail all the way to the scenic Raven Cliff Falls Overlook with a wonderful view of the falls. From there we will return and take the Gum Gap Trail to the Natureland Trust Trail and venture down to the wonderful suspension bridge right above Raven Cliff Falls. The views there are fantastic, so the plan is to stop there for a lunch break. From the suspension bridge we will hike back along a simlar route to the parking lot. A loop hike is not possible as the trail below the falls is closed. We will hike at a moderate pace around 2.25 mph depending upon the terrain and trail conditions.

We will meet at University Square across from Mr. Salsa at 8:00 AM to form carpools and leave by 8:15 AM for the 45 minute drive to the Raven Cliff Falls trailhead.

If you prefer to meet at the Raven Cliff Falls trailhead, please arrive no later than 9:00 AM for a hike start at 9:15 AM. Please note if you do not have a SC State Park Pass, there is a $2 fee per car (honor system, so bring exact change).

Please indicate in the comments section whether you are meeting at University Square or Raven Cliff Falls trailhead no later then the day prior to the hike.
