(VS) Sassafras Mtn Up and Back, 10 mile 2,200' EG

Starting from Laurel Valley Parking area, we will hike the FHT climbing up to the top of Sassafras Mountain gaining about 2,200' of elevation. Break at the top and then retrace our way back down to the cars.

Meet at Publix at 8:15 to form carpools to leave at 8:30 am
Trailhead at 9:30 am. We will gather and begin the hike shortly after 9:30 am.
RT from Publix is 66 miles
Carpool $5
We'll hike at about 2.5 mph depending on conditions.
