Twin Falls and Avery Creek Falls and Clawhammer Falls Loop hike at Pisgah National Forest

We will hike up the Avery Creek gravel road for about one quarter mile from the parking lot and then turn right on the Avery Creek trail.
There we will hike right along the beautiful creek and will cross it several times. The trail is in very good condition and we have several pretty new bridges at most Creek crossings and we will pass by Avery Creek Falls.
From there we will enter the Buckhorn Gap trail and then the twin falls trail which leads us to the awesome twin falls.
We will see two separate falls side by side about 100’ Apart.
This is a good lunch spot!
From there we continue our loop on the Buckhorn Gap trail and then the Clawhammer road and -Cove trail where we will see a small waterfall fall and then finish our loop by connecting with the Avery Creek trail.

Comments:
We will have some creek crossings where no bridge is present and we need to step on some rocks that are placed in the creek.
I don’t think it’s very difficult but hiking poles would be helpful!
