(S) Sam Knob to Little Sam to MST to ALT
We will leave Publix at 8:30 and be at trailhead by 10:15 AM.

This is a loop with a side trip to Sam Knob and an optional side trip to Black Balsam Knob. We will ascend Sam Knob and then head toward the parkway on Little Sam trail. We will then turn left at the MST trail and follow it back through the black balsam forest, cross the road and then follow the ALT back to the turn off to the parking area. There is a optional add on for those who want to ascend to Black Balsam Knob.
