(S) PRE-PICNIC HIKE - Station Cove Falls and Oconee S.P.

This is a PRE-PICNIC hike for the annual GNHA summer picnic. Sign-up separately for the picnic event. You may sign up for either or both.

Hike Stats: 7.3 miles, 1135 ft. e.g., 2.5mph pace.

Hike Description: We will start from the Station Cove Falls Trailhead on Oconee Station Road. First, we hike to Station Cove Falls to take in this attractive site. Next we climb the Oconee Connector Trail, and make a loop in the State Park. Finally, we descend the Oconee Connector on our return to the vehicles. After completing the hike, we enjoy a 30 minute drive to the picnic (Chau-Ram County Park). Target is to make it over to the summer picnic by 12:30 pm.

Carpool Notes: If you carpool, confirm the driver's plan to see if it matches your plan for the day. Carpool fee based on ride to trailhead plus ride to picnic, and then return to Publix: 118mi. RT x .08 = $9.44.
