(S) PRE-PICNIC HIKE - Stool Mountain Trail - Table Rock State Park

This is a PRE-PICNIC hike for the annual GNHA summer picnic. Sign-up separately for the picnic event. You may sign up for either or both.

Meet at Publix for carpools at 7:45 am for an 8:00 am departure or at trailhead at 8:45.

(S) Stool Mountain Trail - Table Rock State Park
Hike description:

We will start from the Table Rock State Park Trailhead. From there, we will hike to the top of Stool Mountain for an amazing 360 degree view of the backside of Table Rock Mountain, Table Rock Lake, and Caesars Head Mountain in the distance. There will also be a view toward Greenville and Paris Mountain in the other direction. We will return on the same route. After completing the hike, we enjoy a senic 50 minute drive to the picnic at Chau-Ram County Park. There is an entrance fee to Table Rock Park if you do not have a state park pass.

Target is to make it over to the summer picnic by 12:30 pm
