(MS) PRE-PICNIC HIKE - Opossom Creek Falls

This is a PRE-PICNIC hike for the annual GNHA summer picnic. Sign-up separately for the picnic event. You may sign up for either or both.

Drive RT: 133 miles, Carpool Fee: $12 (includes entry fee to Chau Ram County Park)

Opossum Creek Falls - On Opossum Creek, a 2 hour hike to this cascade falls and back. Trail leads to the Chattooga River, then turns left for 0.3 miles and follows the creek up river to the falls.

Meet at Publix at 7:45, depart promptly at 8:00. Solo hikers can meet the Hike Leader at Hardee’s in Westminster at 9:00. Please leave a comment if you’re meeting the group at Hardees. After restroom break, we will continue carpooling to the trailhead.

Post hike, our goal is to make it over to the summer picnic by 12:45 pm
