Despeuxrados (VS) Hikes - Hometown hike at Paris Mountain 9.9 MLS/1575 EG

This week we will do a more hometown hike at Paris Mountain. Starting at the main parking lot which is about 1/4 mile from the main entrance on the left. We will proceed up the Mountain Creek trail to the start of Sulpher Springs where we begin that trail in a clockwise direction. This is a challenging segment which has good elevation gains. We then take Fire Tower for a short distance followed by a left on Kanuga and then round North Lake to have lunch at the GNHA bench. We then make our way to Pipsissewa and take a left on Brissy Ridge to go the hard way back to where we meet Sulpher Springs again and finally back down Mountain Creek. It took me longer to write than it will take to hike!!

DESPEAUXRADOS/ GNHA INFORMATION:
This group meets Wed at University Square Shopping Center. The specific hikes are described 1 to 4 weeks in advance and target hikes which are 10 miles long and climb 2000 ft. We hike at approx. 2.5 MPH, faster or slower depending on terrain.
