HIKE SUMMARY: 11.5 miles 1850 EG. Leader - Charles D.
HIKE DESCRIPTION: This week, we enjoy the varied landscape of Dupont State Forest. This hike will involve a short shuttle (3 miles/5min.) from Corn Mill Shoals Access to Hooker Falls Access. The hike begins at Hooker Falls Access, and we quickly ascend to Triple Falls and High Falls trailside viewing areas. Afterwards, we will hike to connect to the Sheep Mountain Trail. More hiking will get us to Cedar Rock for lunch with a view. Next, we wrap around Cedar Rock and Big Rock to descend to Corn Mill Shoals. After viewing the shoals, it's 1 mile back to vehicles.

DESPEAUXRADOS/ GNHA INFORMATION:
This group meets Wed at University Square Shopping Center. The specific hikes are described 1 to 4 weeks in advance and target hikes which are 10 miles long and climb 2000 ft. We hike at approx. 2.5 MPH, faster or slower depending on terrain.
