Despeauxrados (VS) Hikes Paris Mtn. State Park

Hike stats: 10.5 miles, 1500 ft. eg, 2.5 mph pace

Hike Description: The hike will start from the parking lot at shelters 5/6 where Sulpher Springs starts. Arrive in time to start hiking at 8:30AM. We will proceed on the Mountain Creek Trail, and join the Sulphur Springs Trail, following the creekside, then up the Tower Trail to our highest elevation. Then down the Kanuga Trail to North Lake, and back up Pipsissewa Trail, reconnecting with Kanuga Trail. Then follow the other half of Sulphur Springs back to vehicles.

This group meets Wed at University Square Shopping Center. The specific hikes are described 1 to 4 weeks in advance and target hikes which are 10 miles long and climb 2000 ft. We hike at approx. 2.5 MPH, faster or slower depending on terrain.
