Hike Description:
This is a hike in a private gated community off Hwy. 276 near Brevard, NC. We will meet at the parking lot for the Connestee Falls which can be found in Google Maps. We will go the short distance to view the falls. This falls is truly unique as two streams come in opposite each other and ultimately flow perpendicular to that direction. We will then organize going through the gate to gain access to the Amakola, Cave, Carson Creek, and Middle Falls Trails Loop where we will meet at Ticoa Lake Dam parking area off Connestee Trail Road. To get through the gate we will need to have the full driver's name. If you can carpool up to 5 people in your vehicle, I need to have your full name and telephone number. Car pool limited to 3 vehicals due to parking considerations.
Please bring a change of shoes and shirt due to muddy and humid conditions.
