Details
We will head to the Pisgah Forest and hike the Cat Gap Loop and John Rock trail for fantastic views. Then we will head to Jeter Mountain Farm for APPLE SEASON! Here you can shop for apples, cider donuts and other treats, Drink a cold cider or cold HARD CIDER. We will spend at hour or so here and then head home.
Hikers are welcome to just hike and skip the farm. Coordinate with your carpool leader first or just meet us at the trail head.

8:30AM (8:15carpool) Publix University Square or 9:45/9:50am Pisgah Fish Hatchery parking lot (1401 Fish Hatchery Rd., Pisgah Forest, NC 28768)
Note: They are doing construction here.
Bring comfortable, solid hiking shoes, plenty of water, and lunch while we take in the view. We leave University Square / Publix promptly at 8:30 am. Leave no trace!
