(MS) Dean's List: Jones Gap Falls & Rainbow Falls

Meet at Publix at 8am for carpools or at the trailhead at 8:45 am. If you are meeting at the trailhead, please let me know in the comments so we are not waiting at the carpool. State Park fees/park pass.

Description: Jones Gap State Park, Rainbow and Jones Gap Falls.
Starting at the parking lot a pretty easy .7 mile hike along the Jones Gap Trail along the river then we cross over the river and head up the Rainbow Falls trail, most of the elevation gain is in this 1.5 mile section but the reward is Rainbow Falls, one of the best falls in SC.
We'll spend some time here for photos, hydrate and snack then back downhill, when we reach the Jones Gap trail we'll head up 0.7 miles to Jones Gap Falls for a short break then a 1.5 mile trip to the parking lot.
