(S) Description- Jones Gap Trail from the parking lot to Silver Steps Falls

8.6 miles, M/S 1,200 foot elevation gain.
Jones Gap State Park. From the parking lot we will head up the Jones Gap Trail and stay on it until we reach Silver Steps Falls. There we will break for lunch and head on back the same trail. Steady elevation and as with other trails in the mountains rocks and roots to make it interesting.
Parts of the hike will be along the Saluda River passing by Jones Gap and TollRoad Falls and Ben's Sluice.
