## (MS) Moonshine Falls and Confusion Falls via Asbury Trail

Hike description:
We will meet at the intersection of HWY 276 and HWY 11 at the base of Caesar's Head to consolidate before going through the locked gate at Asbury Hills Methodist Camp. Going into the camp take the road to the very bottom and park where the road ends. (Note that there is another intersection of HWY 11 and Hwy 276 further to the east at Cleveland.) We will be going across Matthews Creek by steel cable bridge which consists of two cables attached to a tree roughly 5' vertically apart, one for your hands and one for your feet. Hiking through the river is also doable. We will hike to the historic Moonshine Falls which has remnants of the still. Confusion Falls is a short ways further down the trail. This is an in/out hike.
Carpool details:
Meet in the Publix parking lot on the south end near Mr. Salsa at 8:00. RT: 42 Fee $5
If not carpooling, meet at Hwy 11 and Hwy 276 parking area by 8:30. Please indicate if you are/are not carpooling.
